The Players Grill will open Monday-Friday at 10:00 A.M. . Saturday - Sunday the Grill will open at 6:30 A.M.

We are quite busy this week (Sept. 22-29) with all of the scheduled activities, 49'ers tournament rescheduled for Sept. 23, S.L.I.C.E Outing Sept. 25, Nora Baldner Outing Sept. 26 and Sept. 27-28 Sr. Men's City Tournament. We still have some tee times available on all of these dates. You will need to be somewhat flexible.

LITTLE LINKS

2008 Westview’s Little Links League

Purpose: To provide accessible, affordable, competitive golf to children ages 8-14 in a supervised atmosphere.

Participation: The initial goal of the league is to recruit participants to fill 4-6 teams with 6-8 golfers per team for a field of 36 golfers.

Format: Golfers will play from different tees based upon their skill level on Westview’s third nine. The teams will play stroke play, and 4 scores will be counted for each team. A round robin form of matches will be played.

Supervision and Instruction: Westview’s Director of Golf, Matt Burry, will be the commissioner of the league with coaches coming from his staff at Westview with many years of golf experience between them. Coaches will give advice and provide etiquette lessons during each league day.

Fees: The entry fee is $30.00 to join the Little Links League. This fee will go towards weekly prizes. Each week golfers will be required to pay their green fees of $5.00, or have one of the season passes. The Summer Junior Pass, which is $25.00, would work well (it is valid Mon. – Fri. on holes 19-27, before 12:00 noon during the months of June, July, and August.)

2008 Dates: League day is Thursday mornings with an 8:00 am shotgun. Players should be at the golf course no later than 7:45 a.m. so that we can discuss that particular day’s agenda. Little Links will be held on the following dates: June 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17, and 24.
