Custom Club Fitting
If every golfer were the same size and had the same swing, everyone could use the same set of golf clubs. Every golfer’s body and swing are unique to that individual and therefore should be using a set of clubs that are custom fitted to that swing.
Studies have shown as many as 9 out of every 10 golfers are playing with clubs not perfectly matched to their needs. Golf is still very challenging, even if your clubs are fitted perfectly; don’t make it harder on yourself by using equipment that doesn’t fit your swing.
With custom fitted golf clubs, you’ll discover that clubs are tailored to your swing and its dynamics. Combining the high performance technology of today’s clubs with custom fitting, the Westview staff can prescribe clubs that add accuracy and distance to your golf shots.
The process is simple and takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour. In your club fitting session the following variables will be addressed:
1. Lie Angle – Most important concerning accuracy of ball flight.
2. Shaft Flex – Ladies, Senior, Regular, Stiff, Extra Stiff.
3. Shaft Material – Graphite or Steel.
4. Club Length – Too short can cause toe hits, too long can cause heel hits. Hitting the “sweet” spot is most important.
5. Offset – Controls a slice and can assist in getting the ball airborne easier.
6. Grip Size – The proper grip size creates better feel, distance and control.
7. Grip Type – Rubber, Cord, Half-Cord, Winn Styles.
8. Set Make Up & Model – What clubs do you need? 3-PW?
Normal Charges for Custom Club Fitting:
$30.00 – Includes checking loft and lie of current clubs and addressing the eight variables listed above & giving minor suggestions on set-up as needed.
No Charge - If new clubs are purchased/ordered from Westview Golf Course within two weeks!

Professional and an authorized PING Custom Club Fitter since 1999, can check your current set for proper fit or “custom fit” you for a new set as desired.
